Skill

Tairitsu (Grievous Lady) & Chuni Penguin's skill uses the special CHUNITHM Recollection Gauge, which functions the same as the default Gauge, but with aesthetic changes:

• Instead of a single Recollection Gauge with a Rate range of 0-100, it consists of a set of 10 consecutive gauges that each take 10 Rate to fill.
• The numerical Rate indicator is replaced with a counter that counts the number of filled gauges, in square brackets.
• The Gauge starts at [0] filled gauges and 0 Rate. Filling the current Gauge by reaching 10 Rate will reset the Rate to 0 and increment the Gauge counter by 1.
• Clearing songs requires [7] filled gauges (the same as the usual 70 Rate requirement)
• The Gauge is initially blue, but changes colour to yellow once [7] Gauges are filled.

Clearing songs with this skill awards a normal purple Clear. Note that the Rate gain/loss for PURE/FAR/LOST notes is the same as the default Gauge, and the filled Gauge counter can decrease due to LOST notes.

Unlike some other collaboration partner skills, this skill takes effect on all songs, not just those in CHUNITHM Collaboration.

Trivia

• Chuni Penguin is the mascot character and default system voice of the CHUNITHM series.
• Their skill is a reference to CHUNITHM's own Gauge Clear system.
  • In CHUNITHM, filling the Gauge resets it, and increases the Gauge counter. A minimum number of Gauges must be filled to achieve song Clear. The Gauge increases with JUSTICE CRITICAL, JUSTICE, and ATTACK judgements, and decreases with MISS judgements.
• This is the first duo collaboration partner to use a variant of the main partner instead of the base version, being based on Tairitsu (Grievous Lady) instead of Tairitsu.
